HyPPO 2014: A California Road Map update
The Advancing the Choice Expo is one of the largest events in the Inland region that provides real solutions for people to live better, healthier lives with less impact on the environment. Regional leaders and others have the opportunity to learn more about alternative fuel technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable planning efforts, which work together to create healthier communities.
The California Hydrogen Business Council will host its next annual 2-day California Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit on September 30th and October 1st at the California EPA in Sacramento. The Summit features national and international hydrogen and fuel cell energy industry experts and policy makers to create a forum for the exchange of information about both stationary and mobile fuel cells. The purpose is to help the participants recognize the already important commercial markets for these technologies and new products and technologies about to enter the commercial marketplace.
CaFCP staff will take part in the 2015 annual League of California Cities Conference & Expo, September 30- October 2, 2015 at the San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA. The annual conference welcomes local elected officials, municipal staff and economic development agencies. CaFCP will have the Mercedes-Benz BClass FCell on display and staff will be on hand to discuss the growing hydrogen fueling network in cities across California.
Join the California Fuel Cell Partnership and many other stakeholders, including the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA), in celebrating the value and benefits fuel cells and hydrogen energy technology.
In recognition of the benefits of fuel cell and hydrogen energy technology, industry, friends, and supporters are celebrating National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day to help raise awareness of a clean energy technology that is here now. October 8th was chosen as a reference to the of the atomic weight of Hydrogen, 1.008.
The California Fuel Cell Partnership and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) have teamed up to present a developed national hydrogen safety training resource for emergency responders at the 2015 FireShows West at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on October 8, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:30pm. Jennifer Hamilton will deliver a course which is a hybrid of the national resource and the California Fuel Cell Partnership’s information.
CaFCP staff will take part in the 2015 Continuing Challenge three-day workshop September 8-11, 2015 at the Red Lion Woodlake Hotel, Sacramento, CA. CaFCP staff Jennifer Hamilton, James L. Bryan with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) will be presenting on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 8:00am- 12:00pm on hydrogen and fuel cell electric vehicle education. The course is designed to educate first responders about hydrogen and fuel cells electric vehicles, and to provide appropriate safety and emergency response information.
CaFCP staff will take part in the 2015 Pacific Oil Conference at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live September 8-10, 2015. This conference is geared towards independent petroleum marketers and convenience store retailers throughout the western United States. During the three-day conference attendees will take part in unmatched education, nonstop networking, innovative ideas, and unique purchasing opportunities. CaFCP staff will be on hand to discuss the growing hydrogen fueling network in cities across California.
CaFCP will take part in the 2015 Fuels Institute Annual Meeting, September 23-25, 2015 at the Conrad Hotel in Indianapolis, IN. During the annual meeting CaFCP staff will talk about the growing hydrogen fueling network in California along with the recent announcements from automakers on the rollout plans for FCVs on California roads.
CaFCP members, will be participating in the 2015 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Refueling Summit, September 22 – 23, 2015 at the Conrad Hotel in Indianapolis, IN. During the two-day summit, industry leaders, OEMOriginal Equipment Manufacturer manufacturers, station developers, and national labs will come together to educate fuel retailers/marketers across the country on hydrogen FCVs and fueling basics as well as the growing hydrogen fueling network in California and other parts of the states.
